me and my gorgeous friends again

Text

On peaceful Sunday afternoon, my French parents took me on a wlk through a nearby park. Being a beautiful day it was packed with people who all knew each other and stopped to chat or give the bisous (the kiss the French give to one another). In the amazingly beautiful park there were many colored benches, in red, green, yellow and purple, those, more than anything, is what I loved the most. The just added a nice bright pop of colour to an otherwise very green place.

if i had one of these i would put it in my room

The beach is definitely one of my favorite things about Australia, you can’t live there and not love it. White sand and blue waters, it’s absolutely beautiful. This beach has got to be one of the best though, not many people go there and it was off season so the beach was practically empty except for me and my friends. It was so peaceful and a great way to spend my last day I’m Oz, building castles on the sand, running from the waves and swimming in the sea. Almost likes fairytale…

while in hong kong

these little markets were one of my favorite places in Hong Kong, this one was located just a shirt walk from the tourist district and was a great find. It sold these quirky little bits and pieces that you wouldn’t find anywhere else, from coke cans that chased each other round the table, to iron on stickers for your clothes in all shapes and sizes, amazing iPhone cases and so much more. The best part? I didn’t find anything over $15.

To me, this picture best descripes Hong Kong. You can see the buisnessman, the typical tourist with a backpack and just one if the many old ladies who stands on the street trying to give out bits and pieces to passersby. The signs written in both English and Chinese, mostly for the benefit of the vast amount of tourist that holiday there, and the shops! Oh the shopping in hong kong.. It’s just amazing, every street in the tourist district is packed with millions of shops, there’s everything, from Prada, to adidas, to Burberry to little boutiques filled with fashion so typical of Asia.

The Eiffel tower; that was the moment it hit me I was in France, in Paris and so, so far away from home. There’s not much you can say really about it, there aren’t words to describe how amazing it actually isw

halloween fair

one unusually hot day, my French family offered to take me out. My French being quite bad at that time, I went to what I’d understood to be ’ a vegetable fair’, not really my cup of tea but I grabbed my camera and went along for the ride. Apon arriving i discovered it was a Halloween fair and they had been trying to explain that there would be a pumpkin display. Oh well! I was close enough. It turned out to be a really lovely day, the lumkijn display was amazing, with pumpkins of literally all shapes and sizes, from large, round and orange, to small green and oval. It really was a site to see.
