The beach is definitely one of my favorite things about Australia, you can’t live there and not love it. White sand and blue waters, it’s absolutely beautiful. This beach has got to be one of the best though, not many people go there and it was off season so the beach was practically empty except for me and my friends. It was so peaceful and a great way to spend my last day I’m Oz, building castles on the sand, running from the waves and swimming in the sea. Almost likes fairytale…
while in hong kong
these little markets were one of my favorite places in Hong Kong, this one was located just a shirt walk from the tourist district and was a great find. It sold these quirky little bits and pieces that you wouldn’t find anywhere else, from coke cans that chased each other round the table, to iron on stickers for your clothes in all shapes and sizes, amazing iPhone cases and so much more. The best part? I didn’t find anything over $15.
To me, this picture best descripes Hong Kong. You can see the buisnessman, the typical tourist with a backpack and just one if the many old ladies who stands on the street trying to give out bits and pieces to passersby. The signs written in both English and Chinese, mostly for the benefit of the vast amount of tourist that holiday there, and the shops! Oh the shopping in hong kong.. It’s just amazing, every street in the tourist district is packed with millions of shops, there’s everything, from Prada, to adidas, to Burberry to little boutiques filled with fashion so typical of Asia.
